Man, I hate it when comic artists sell out and let their stuff be slapped on cheap, crappy low quality merchandise that has absolutely nothing to do with the original storyline whatsoever.



I offered to make paper dolls for Lillian. I said that if she came up with the characters to make stories for, I would draw them and make dolls of them. "HAZZANGHOUL! AND ASHLINNE! AND A LOT OF KIDS! No! One kid! No! A boy named William and a girl named Stinkerbottom! And a giraffe! And Ashlinne wants an elephant!!"

Never going to happen in the comic strip. But my kid wanted to see it. So I drew it. In manga, I believe this is what is referred to as "fan service".

...though Ashlinne would want an elephant.
